Open API(Application Programming Interface)?
An application programming interface that publicly exposes specific services or data so that external software developers can use them to create new applications or services.

How to Use

  • You can apply for the Open API after signing up as a member.
  • An API key is issued immediately after you submit an Open API application; however, the key becomes usable only after staff review and approval.
  • You can check the issued API key and application status under My Page → Open API Application History.

You can achieve more accurate search results by using the following operators in your search query.

Space Search for data that contains both search terms.

→ Search for data that contains either "lung" or "cancer".
! Exclude a specific term.
Exclude data that contains the search term following NOT.

→ Search for data that contains "lung" but excludes "cancer".
[ ] Search for data that exactly matches the phrase within square brackets.
IUPAC name search, long phrase search

→ Search for data that exactly matches the phrase "lung cancer".
( ) Grouping/precedence operator for complex queries.

→ Search for data that contains either "lung" or "cancer" and also contains "bio".
* Partial match using a wildcard.
