Integrated search queries domestic materials, overseas knowledge information (Open Target Platform), overseas publications (PubMed), and integrated portal content, displaying results from all sources.
Resource list search allows filtering by 14 bio-material clusters (brain, model animals, microorganisms, cultured cells, pathogens, aquatic organisms, wild organisms, human-derived materials, seeds, stem cells, natural products, livestock, synthetic compounds, marine organisms) and by material type (form).

Becoming a member of BioOne allows unrestricted access to registering favorite materials, applying for distributions, consultations, and posting on the bulletin board. Non-members, however, can only access limited content, such as integrated view, mind-map view, overseas knowledge information, and overseas publication information.

For overseas knowledge information, data from more than 20 public sources are integrated, and the ‘Open Target Platform’ is used to analyze and score associations between drug targets and diseases.
For overseas publication information, PubMed, operated by the U.S. National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) under the National Institutes of Health (NIH), is used to search publications across medicine, health, and welfare, allowing access to full texts and journal details.

The specialized portal is a system that produces and provides large-scale, specialized information for each of the 14 clusters, managing and offering integrated information limited to a single cluster field.
In contrast, the integrated platform provides consolidated information across clusters, allowing users to apply for material distribution, check distribution status, access interconnected research data between materials, view integrated statistics for key materials, and perform advanced searches such as unified search and comparative search—making it a one-stop integrated platform for bio-material information.
